Large bowls for snacks and long wine and champagne glasses are often part of the basic equipment for all kinds of events and celebrations.
Unfortunately, they often don’t fit in the dishwasher and therefore have to be washed by hand.

Wine glasses: Just one move makes washing up easier
If you have a particularly spacious dishwasher that can accommodate large bowls and… Wine glasses fit, consider yourself lucky. Unfortunately, the upper basket of the dishwasher is not large enough in all models.
However, with many dishwashers you can create enough space for the long glasses with a simple handle.
To do this, pull out the top compartment of the dishwasher. On both outsides of the basket there are rails on which the drawer moves back and forth.
There is a plastic element installed above the rail; when you press the switch, the dish rack sinks one level lower.
